Bookedroom is a reservation engine designed and developed by DRØMBIT. Bookedroom was created to solve needs of single independent hotels where they look for to be able to manage their own rooms, accept payments online. This offer full-featured travel management and reservation system will handle your company's call center reservations, operations, and accounting requirements.
The main proposal of this project is create a platform easy to use, show real-time reservations, open new channel sales with centralized data created and supported by us. This is a Software as a Service (SaaS) and is targeting to offer to different groups of customers even novice users. That are the most popular features of the platform:

We decided to work with the iterative life cycle model because we need to define a product with just enough features to gather validated known as Minimum Viable Product (MVP) which can then be reviewed in order to identify further requirements. This process is then repeated, producing a new version of the software for each cycle of the model, but the first version is fine to validate. So, we only created a high-level design of the application before we actually begin to build the product and define the design solution for the entire product. We save a lot of money for this release and let us to test with real customers. Finally, we were improving the software according to feedback provided by the customer.
We have built great projects with Java and PHP, but we had been wanting to get into Ruby on Rails and we did it. We've found that it enables us to create higher quality product for clients much faster, that are more maintainable. Google Maps helps to know where the room are located and how to arrival there. And the most important feature that we will miss a lot is Open Graph, it's a jewel.
We really put our hearts into make improvements like: adding more payment support, upcoming platform for providing resources as Software as a Service (SaaS), analytics tools which help to customer make more conversons with a low cost. The costumers doesn't have to pay for infrastucture or worry for technical support.
Working with bugs help to preserve the hight quality in this solution where the customer contribute with the team to release a stable version according to the key requirements, the tracking issue is managed with Trello. The workflow that we use: To Do, In Progress, Review, Done & Requests. That allow us to know exactly where we are working. Is important for us what the customers evaluate our progress on each iteration.
